Smart Car

The Smart Car was a final project completed by my partner and I for embedded systems. It integrates two HC11 microcontrollers, a voice activation board, and an ultrasonic distance sensor.

The Smart Car is a voice activated, radio controlled car with an auto-braking system. It recognizes human voice input through a Sensory Voice Extreme Module, and distance from the front of the car is measured using an ultrasonic distance sensor. The Smart Car recognizes and responds to 6 different voice commands: stop, go, back, left, right, and straight. The sensor on the front of the Smart Car automatically stops the car if it is too close to an object, as to avoid a collision.
